Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has provided support, 24-hour care, and housing for adults with psychiatric disabilities and co-occurring disorders since 1942. We offer a wide range of care services, including personal assistance, social and physical training, and support for individual development.

Our Responsibilities

Our primary task is to provide support and care in the daily lives of our residents. This is done through a structured and individualized implementation plan, tailored to the client's specific needs and goals.

Health: Medication administration, rehabilitation, support during doctor visits, exercise.

Social Support: Participating in activities, crafts, bathing, playing video games, walking, coffee breaks, grocery shopping, and baking together with clients, among other things.

Personal Care: Washing, cooking, cleaning, and assistance with personal hygiene.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to work with adults with significant disabilities resulting from psychiatric illness and who wants to make a difference in people's lives. Education in nursing, Child and Youth activities, or a Leisure Leader program is considered an asset.

• At least 18 years old.
• Education in healthcare and social services, leisure leader training, or equivalent.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).
• Driver's license (automatic or manual transmission).

What We Offer

We offer a temporary position (hourly employment). In addition to community, personal development, and meaningful work, you will receive a collective agreement. When you are hired, you will be assigned a mentor who will accompany you during your first shifts. The mentor has extensive knowledge of the department and will show you how we work on the ward.
